Agave attenuata (syn. Agave cernua, Agave glaucescens, Agave pruinosa), also called Foxtail Agave, is found in the mountains of Jalisco (Central Mexico) where it grows in small populations at a height of upto 2000 meters. Agave attenuata requires a shady position in the greenhouse. Give it a fertile mineral soil and water well in summer. Water this Agave slightly in winter and keep temperatures above 0 °C.
