Epithelantha plants

Epithelantha is a cactus family with nice round species of cacti. The plants are small and form single heads or small clustered groups.For long this group had been mistaken for Mammillaria. Epithelantha species are native to Texas USA to the Northern regions of Mexico.

Cultivation

Epithelantha is best propagated in a mineral soil. Add some chalk or fine limestone to enhance growth. This species need full sun to develop. Provide some shade in the hottest hours of the day.
