Ferocactus plants

Ferocactus is a cactus family with many different growth forms. The plants are usually big and flat round or columnar in shape. There are around 35 knowns species of Ferocactus. The species is native to the USA (Utah and Nevada to the Southern border) and Mexico.

Cultivation

Ferocactus species are usually slow growers but not to difficult to cultivate. Use a general cactus soil mix with good drainage and provide good light conditions and warmth.
