Details

Lophophora jourdaniana, like Lophophora williamsii v. caespitosa, is a highly sprouting member of the Peyote family. It tends to form clusters. Flowers of Lophophora jourdaniana are pink to purple.

Lophophora jourdaniana can be cultivated in most greenhouses. It likes a high temperature in summer when you should water well. Make sure you water from beneath when possible to prevent chalk stains on the cactus body. In winter keep Lophophora jourdaniana dry at a minimum temperature of about 10 degrees Celsius. This Peyote needs bright, diffuse light.

Lophophora Williamsii Jourdaniana 3 cm , 4/25/2016

Measured item with callipers 1 week after planting to give it a chance to take in some water and adjust (summer time) its 2.7cm, item advertised as 3cm!
The small discrepancy is not a major issue, but of the 10 plants I ordered this one arrived in the roughest shape, the specimen had a reddish/brown tinge to it throughout the body. Perhaps if was burnt at some point?
Seems to be hanging on.

(CactusPlaza - This is normal natural coloration during winter when not watered for a while. You can have a greener coloration when you water a lot and give less light.)
