Sulcorebutia is a large group of cacti found in South America (Bolivia). They are usually small globular plants. Sometimes solitary growing or clustering. They have beautiful flowers. Sulcorebutia requires regular cactus soil with pumice added for extra drainage. Give these plants plenty of light and keep them dry in winter at temperatures around 10 °C. Propagation is done from seeds and cuttings. Slow growing species can be grafted on a stock like Trichocereus or Myrtillocactus.
