One of the more spectacular specimens Review by Darrell
Quality Price How cool is this guy? I discovered Pseudolithos migiurtinus while browsing through the succulent seed catalogue here, and I still cannot completely get over its unique appearance. It seems so toad-like. When my seedlings reach maturity, I wouldn't be surprized to see them sprout little toad hands and feet and hop away! Haha.
Now I've read that these succulents can be very sensitive to their growing environments, and that one misstep can send the whole thing into a death spiral. But thus far I have had absolutely no issue whatsoever.
Based on my research, I theorize that Pseudolithos isn't for the virgin or occasional gardener, but easy success will come to the more diligent horticulturalist. I highly recommend this succulent to anyone who likes a challenge, or for anyone wanting to spice up their collection. (Posted on 9/25/11)
