We have experimented for years at CactusPlaza Nursery with different types of soil mixes for germinating cactus & succulent seeds. We have concluded this seed germination mix to be best for most species. The seedlings root very well in this soil mix and they grow steadily.

It seems like succulent seeds sprout really quickly when I used this soil. Ive only tried it once but it worked really well.

The soil feels and looks very good. The plants seem to love it! 1 liter isn’t too much, but I just put it on top of normal soil (about 50/50), which seems to work.
