Copiapoa cactus species are native to Chile. They were named by Britton and Rose in 1922. Copiapoa are globular cacti with yellow flowers. They require regular cactus soil. They grow in autumn and need to be kept dry in summer. Do not water in winter time and keep these plants at a minimum temperature of 10 °C.
